VORTEX is designed to provide a transparent, zero-latency downmixing solution for immersive audio formats ranging from 5.1 up to 9.1.6. By adhering strictly to ITU-R BS.775 standards, the plugin ensures that your mix remains uncorrupted, and it features a unique Recovery Lock system that confirms your downmix is compatible with the AXIS Upmixer for a seamless round-trip process. Optional tools like a true-peak limiter and dialogue protection are available when needed, but they remain inactive by default to preserve the purity of the signal path.
